LGC has access to some of the most skilled professionals
available in the food service & hospitality industries. Sophisticated and
talented workers are challenging to attract, but our networking, marketing and
advertising have optimized our recruitment approach towards identifying the
best of the best.
We have established a rigorous interview and screening
process for those wishing to register as LGC candidates. The LGC staffing manager
identifies each worker’s key skills, work experience and aspirations. Our goal
is to recruit the best and assign those workers who will add value to your
operation. Additionally, upon written client request, potential candidates can
be subjected to various background checks and drug testing.
Besides qualifications, and experience LGC workers are
professional in appearance with exceptional communication skills. LGC has high
standards that exceed the exacting specifications of our clients.
Our workers are smartly attired in standard FOH & BOH
uniforms establishing a consistent appearance for our clients.
Temporary Assignments
LGC is available to answer the call for any interim
requirement you might have for a temporary employee. We will respond with a
qualified worker immediately, or in the future depending upon your need.
An LGC branch office has early AM coverage to handle
last-minute call-off’s, and we are open Saturday to assist with catered event
staffing. LGC works when you work. We understand hospitality & food
service staffing is not a 9-5, Monday-Friday dynamic.
Our goal is to identify & assign a worker skilled in
their trade and ready to perform at a moment’s notice.
You might have an occasion where your temporary need extends
for a longer period of time due to a medical leave, or seasonal changes. LGC
has a significant database of workers who are available for longer term
temporary assignments.
Additionally, all LGC Banquet Servers must attend and pass
LGC’s proprietary ServTrain Banquet training class. The LGC ServTrain program
is dynamic and interactive. We expect every worker attending to master the
basic serving skills including the ability to carry 8-10 top on a serving tray.
Finally, LGC has trainers approved to teach Health
Communications TiPS OnPremise program covering the legal, safe &
responsible manner of serving alcohol. At your written request, LGC can assign
employees certified in this class.
Temp to Hire Assignments
Bad hiring decisions impact all aspects of an operation.
Estimated costs of hiring a replacement employee equal almost
one-third of a new employees’ salary. The LGC Temp to Hire program assists our
clients in minimizing hiring mistakes by offering the ability to actually work
the employee before committing to them full-time. A “try before you buy”
approach to identifying new workers.
LGC has developed a simple, easy to understand conversion
policy affording clients the opportunity to convert one of our temporary
workers to their payroll without a fee.
Direct Hire Recruitment
LGC’s basic level of Direct Hire recruiting; you only pay a
fee if you hire one of our presented candidates. Once you determine the
specific skills you require for your job opening, contact the local LGC
staffing manager.
They will guide you through a simple series of questions to
fully understand your hiring goals, management style and work environment. Our
LGC staffing manager will provide you immediate update on the progress of the
search. The goal is to provide you skilled candidates, not a stack of
unqualified resumes.
Retained Search Recruitment
This represents LGC’s highest level of recruitment service.
Typically, clients who utilize this option do so for
specialized positions. We customize our screening process to include any
specific questioning, hypothetical situations, or tests you require. Our
target is to incorporate a strategic, customized process into recruiting geared
at identifying the professional who will assist your company to facilitate
change, or attain higher revenues & profitability.
